Frequently asked questions
I lost the charging cable that came with my Pocketalk.
Replacement cables are not sold separately, but any standard USB Type-C cable rated up to 5 V and 0.5–2.0 A will work.
My device has no SIM card.
The built-in-data model uses an embedded SIM that activates the first time you turn the device on. To check, open Settings → Device/License Info → Device info: "Embedded SIM" means your device has built-in data.
"No Internet connection" appears and translation does not work.
Restart the device by holding the power button, then switch mobile data off and on in the network settings. If the problem continues, the signal may be out of range — connect through Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
A translation was wrong.
Check the transcription on screen first. If the device misheard you, repeat the phrase; if it heard you correctly, try rephrasing. The translation engines update automatically, so there is nothing to report.
